Good book, but won't help to convince a serious chile-free type to have their first kid. People who want to feel that parenting (nurture) has an effect should read the bits about how they have a temporary effect, but must recognize that the data shows that nature wins in the end. Data is king, and attacking studies sight-unseen because you don't like the conclusions is immature. The bits about how extra people won't harm the environment were very badly argued and unconvincing.
Better than average teen fare: suspenseful, a little romantic, not entirely predictable. Some of my students will enjoy this.
